Who is Dr. Khalid Saeed, and is he a good dentist?

Dr. Khalid Saeed is known as the "celebrity smile maker" and focuses on veneers, Hollywood smiles, dental implants and smile rehabilitation. His main clinic is Celebrity Smile Center on Danielle Mitterrand Road near Holland Bazaar in Duhok, Kurdistan Region of Iraq. For about three years he has also worked in Dubai at Creative Arts Dental & Aesthetics in Jumeirah 3, Umm Suqeim 1, which he co-founded.

His approach starts with planning, not drilling: photos on WhatsApp, examination and X-rays, digital smile design and a mock-up you see on your own face, then a written plan listing the teeth, material, preparation level, alternatives and price. He prefers minimal preparation, treats decay and gum disease first, and suggests whitening or orthodontics when they are the better option. In Duhok he uses the Waterlase laser for gum contouring and removing many old veneers.
