General anaesthesia is not available at Creative Arts. Implant surgery there is carried out under local anaesthesia, so you are awake while the area is fully numb. If you are anxious about surgery, mention it at your first consultation so every step and its duration can be explained beforehand, and so your medical history and medicines are reviewed before a date is set.
All-on-4 carries the bridge on four implants, usually with the back two angled to use the bone available. All-on-6 spreads the load over six implants, which is sometimes considered for a strong bite or the upper jaw, but it needs bone in more sites. In selected cases a fixed temporary bridge can be fitted shortly after surgery, but that depends on how stable the implants are when placed and on bone quality, and it is only finally decided during planning and surgery. So it is not promised in advance. Either way, the final bridge is fitted once the bone has healed, usually after 3 to 6 months.
No guaranteed figure can be given: lifespan depends on daily cleaning, smoking, grinding and regular reviews. You clean around the implants with interdental brushes, special floss or a water flosser, and attend professional check-ups and cleaning. The bridge may need maintenance or adjustment over the years, and these details are explained in your plan.
