I studied dentistry at Hawler Medical University, and over time one conviction became clear to me: the most beautiful smile is not the whitest one, it is the one that looks as if it was always yours. Many people who come to see me are afraid of one thing, that their teeth will look fake. My daily work is about making sure that does not happen.

I do not start with the drill. I start with a plan. I design the smile digitally, then place a temporary mock-up in the patient's mouth so they can see it on their own face and tell me what they think before any tooth is touched. Where the case allows, I keep preparation to a minimum, because every bit of natural tooth we keep is an investment in the years ahead. And if the real problem is decay, inflamed gums or a tooth out of position, I say so plainly and we deal with that first.

A good veneer needs a skilled hand in the laboratory as much as a careful dentist. That is why I work with a lab I trust in Dubai, in the same building as Creative Arts, the practice I co-founded. Working there showed me what a meticulous lab can do, and I wanted my patients in Duhok to have the same standard. So their veneers are designed with me here and made there.

In the same spirit I invested in a Waterlase laser in Duhok. It helps me remove old veneers, refine the gum line and care for the tissue around implants in a conservative way. For me, technology is a means to a cleaner result that respects the tissue, not a headline.
