Teeth whitening in Dubai is available at Creative Arts Dental & Aesthetics, 614 Jumeira St, Jumeirah 3, Umm Suqeim 1, where Dr. Khalid Saeed (DHA licence 06772519) practises. The published starting price for in-clinic whitening is AED 699 (October 2026). It suits healthy natural teeth that have yellowed or stained, and it does not change veneers, crowns or tooth shape.
Whitening is the simplest route to a brighter smile because nothing is drilled or covered. It is not the answer for every case, though: some stains do not respond, and chipped or uneven teeth keep their shape. That is why Dr. Khalid Saeed assesses the shade and the cause before suggesting whitening or veneers.
This page covers what teeth whitening costs in Dubai, how in-clinic whitening works, who it suits, and how to choose between whitening and veneers. Dr. Khalid is a co-founder of Creative Arts; see Dr. Khalid Saeed's profile at Creative Arts Dubai or his full biography.

In-clinic whitening from AED 699 (published, Oct 2026)
How much does teeth whitening cost in Dubai at Creative Arts?
Creative Arts published a starting price of AED 699 for in-clinic whitening in October 2026. That is a starting price; your final price is written into your plan after the examination.
What usually changes the cost is the state of your teeth and gums beforehand: decay, gum inflammation or heavy tartar are dealt with first. When booking, ask what the price includes and whether you need a clean before the session, so you know where you stand before you start.
How does in-clinic teeth whitening work?
In-clinic whitening uses a higher-concentration peroxide gel under direct supervision, after the gums are protected with a barrier. The peroxide breaks down stain molecules inside the enamel and dentine, so the tooth looks lighter.
Your current shade is recorded first so you can compare afterwards. In some cases home whitening with custom trays and a lower concentration over days or weeks is suggested instead, or the two are combined, depending on your shade, sensitivity and schedule.
Whitening does not change the colour of composite fillings, veneers or crowns, so visible front fillings may need replacing afterwards to match the new shade.

Who is teeth whitening for, and when is it not suitable?
Whitening usually suits healthy natural teeth that have yellowed with age or from tea, coffee and smoking. It is postponed or reconsidered in other situations:
Suits: people who want lighter teeth without changing their shape
Suits: before composite bonding or thin veneers, to set the base shade
Usually not: pregnancy, breastfeeding, untreated decay or gum disease
Needs assessment: severe sensitivity or marked gum recession
Often limited: dark tetracycline staining, where veneers may suit better
Teeth whitening or veneers in Dubai?
If colour is your only concern and your teeth are well shaped, start with whitening. If there are chips, gaps, unevenness or stains that will not lift, veneers in Dubai may be the better route. The table sums up the difference:

Why is whitening sometimes done before veneers or a Hollywood smile?
Because the veneer shade is chosen to match the teeth around it. If you are having veneers on the upper front teeth only, whitening the lower and side teeth first lets you choose a lighter veneer shade without the veneers looking separate from the rest of your mouth.
With a Hollywood smile in Dubai covering fewer teeth, whitening helps the uncovered teeth blend in. It is part of smile design, which settles shade and shape together before any preparation.
Does whitening cause sensitivity, and how long does it last?
Temporary sensitivity during and after whitening is common and usually settles within days. How long results last varies from person to person: whitening is not permanent, fades gradually with diet, drinks and smoking, and needs occasional top-ups.
Tips that help the shade last:
Cut back on tea, coffee and dark drinks in the first days after whitening
Use a sensitive-teeth toothpaste if you feel twinges
Brush twice a day and floss daily
Keep regular cleans and ask about top-ups

Who is Dr. Khalid Saeed, and why see a cosmetic dentist first?
Dr. Khalid Saeed is a cosmetic and implant dentist who studied at Hawler Medical University in Erbil, is known as the celebrity smile maker, and holds DHA licence 06772519. His main clinic is Celebrity Smile Center in Duhok, Kurdistan Region of Iraq; in Dubai he has worked at Creative Arts for about three years.
A cosmetic assessment looks at the whole smile: whitening alone may be enough, whitening plus a small bonding may be better, or whitening may do little for your case. Dr. Khalid suggests whitening first for people who only want a colour change. See the Creative Arts Dental & Aesthetics clinic in Jumeirah and veneers at Creative Arts Dubai.
Can you have whitening with Dr. Khalid in Duhok?
Yes. Dr. Khalid offers teeth whitening in Duhok at Celebrity Smile Center on Danielle Mitterrand Road, after teeth and gums are checked. Duhok prices are not published; they are written into your plan after the exam.
Because whitening is a relatively short treatment, it fits well into a holiday visit to Kurdistan. Send photos of your teeth on WhatsApp +964 750 799 3444 for a first opinion.
Results vary from patient to patient. Photos are published with the patients' consent.

Does whitening damage enamel?
Carried out under a dentist's supervision at an appropriate concentration, whitening is considered safe for most healthy teeth according to trusted medical sources. The most common side effect is temporary sensitivity that usually settles within days. The real risks come from products of unknown origin or unsuitable strength, or whitening over untreated decay or inflamed gums.
Can veneers or crowns be whitened?
No. Whitening only works on natural teeth and does not change the colour of veneers, crowns or composite fillings. If you dislike the shade of old veneers, the usual solution is to replace them after assessing their condition. If you are planning new veneers, whiten your natural teeth first so the veneer shade is matched to your new colour.
How many sessions does in-clinic whitening need?
Many cases need a single in-clinic session, but teeth with deeper staining may need an extra session or follow-up home whitening with custom trays. Your dentist decides after recording your current shade and checking sensitivity, and explains realistically what to expect before you start.
Can I have whitening while pregnant?
Whitening is usually postponed during pregnancy and breastfeeding as a precaution, since it is a cosmetic treatment that can wait. In that period, regular cleaning and gum care are enough. Once breastfeeding ends, you can come back to have your shade assessed and choose a method.
Is whitening an alternative to a Hollywood smile?
Not always. Whitening changes colour only, while a Hollywood smile changes colour, shape, length and symmetry with veneers on several teeth. If your teeth are straight and healthy and the problem is yellowing, whitening may be enough and save you cost and preparation. With chips, gaps or unevenness, veneers may be needed.
Can I get an opinion before booking?
Yes. Send clear daylight photos of your teeth to the Creative Arts WhatsApp on +971 56 677 7537 and describe what bothers you about the colour. The team can give a first view on whether whitening is likely to help, but the final decision comes after an examination in the clinic.
