Is a Hollywood smile suitable for all ages?

Hollywood smile
The short answer
Not in the same way for everyone. It usually suits adults once the teeth and gums have finished developing and is generally not advised for teenagers before then. Older patients can have one if the gums, bone and supporting teeth are healthy, and the plan may include crowns or implants. Dr. Khalid Saeed in Duhok decides after an exam and X-rays, not by age alone.
The detailed answer
In teenagers the teeth, nerves and gums are still changing, and the gum line can move with growth, which may later expose veneer margins. Dentists therefore usually postpone veneers until growth is complete and start with reversible options — age-appropriate whitening, composite, or orthodontics if alignment is the real issue.
In the twenties and thirties conditions are often ideal: healthy teeth, stable gums, and in selected cases very minimal preparation. But veneers often last 10 years or more with care, so a young patient should expect to replace them once or more in a lifetime. That is why Dr. Khalid Saeed prefers the least preparation possible and preserves enamel.
From the forties and fifties onwards, needs change: worn and shortened teeth, old fillings and crowns, gaps or missing teeth, gum recession. A Hollywood smile then becomes part of a wider plan that may include zirconia crowns or implants, sometimes full-mouth rehabilitation. The shade and shape should suit your age rather than look artificially white.
At any age the first step is the same: exam and X-rays, digital design and a mock-up to preview the result before preparation, then a written plan. Veneers are made at the Creative Art Dental Lab in Dubai to that design. See also the questions to ask before choosing a veneer dentist, and send your photos on WhatsApp for a first opinion.
